The Art of Welcoming Guests at Les 3 Koïs: Peace, Nature and Genuine Hospitality

Some places are chosen for their location, others for their comfort. And then there are places where you come for something less tangible: a particular atmosphere, a genuine welcome and the simple pleasure of slowing down.
Just 400 metres from the outskirts of Pont-Aven, in southern Finistère, Les 3 Koïs is a peaceful, independently run guesthouse set in a former Breton farmhouse, surrounded by five hectares of landscaped grounds.
Here, hospitality is personal. Marie-Corinne and Jean-Luc both speak English and are always happy to share their knowledge of Brittany, helping guests discover the region at their own pace.
A Characterful Guesthouse near Pont-Aven, with a Personal Touch
With just five guest accommodations and a maximum of fifteen guests, Les 3 Koïs has deliberately remained a small, welcoming and independently run guesthouse.
We have no wish to imitate a large hotel. Instead, we offer thoughtful, discreet hospitality, where everyone can feel at ease and enjoy their stay in their own way.
Marie-Corinne and Jean-Luc both speak English and are personally involved in welcoming guests. We enjoy sharing our local knowledge, whether you are looking for coastal walks, art galleries, charming villages or memorable places to eat.
Above all, we believe that genuine hospitality is not measured by the number of services offered, but by the care and attention given to each guest.

Peace, Space and the Pleasure of Slowing Down
Our guesthouse is just outside Pont-Aven, approximately one kilometre from the centre of this celebrated artists' town, surrounded by five hectares of landscaped parkland.
Here, mature trees, winding paths, flowering gardens and the changing seasons are all part of the experience.
After a day exploring Pont-Aven's art galleries, walking sections of the GR34 coastal path, discovering the banks of the Bélon or enjoying the coastline of southern Finistère, there is something wonderful about returning to the peace of Les 3 Koïs.
Read a book, wander through the gardens, admire the landscape, enjoy a conversation or simply do nothing at all. Everyone is free to enjoy these moments in their own way.
Sometimes, true luxury is simply having time, space and tranquillity.

Les 3 Koïs is more than a guesthouse welcoming travellers. It is also a place where creativity is part of everyday life.
Our art studio and gallery brings together Jean-Luc's Raku pottery, ink drawings, paintings and photography, alongside Marie-Corinne's imaginative collages.
These different forms of artistic expression reflect our love of materials, colours, craftsmanship and the freedom to create.
Guests who wish to explore this creative world are welcome to discover it naturally during their stay, through conversation and shared moments.
Art gives Les 3 Koïs a character all of its own.
A Thoughtful Welcome, with Freedom to Be Yourself
We enjoy welcoming our guests warmly while respecting their need for privacy and independence.
Some guests appreciate conversation, personal recommendations and discovering new places. Others simply want to unwind, enjoy the peace and spend time on their own.
At Les 3 Koïs, there is room for both. We aim to create a relaxed atmosphere where everyone feels comfortable, respected and free to enjoy their stay as they wish.
For us, genuine hospitality is not about following a formula. It is about being attentive to people, understanding their wishes and knowing when to offer help — and when to leave them to enjoy the moment.
Choosing Les 3 Koïs Means Choosing a Different Kind of Stay
Névez room – books, art and comfort. Riec-sur-Bélon – a cosy attic room. Pont-Aven room – calm and colourful decor. Trégunc – a warm, wood-panelled bedroom. Moëlan-sur-Mer – a bright, cosy room. Trégunc – second bedroom with twin beds.
A memorable holiday is not necessarily about seeing as many attractions as possible or filling every day with activities.
Sometimes, the most lasting memories come from a beautiful landscape, an unexpected work of art, a spontaneous conversation or the pleasure of returning to a welcoming room after a day exploring Brittany.
Our five guest accommodations, with six individually styled bedrooms, offer comfort, character and a peaceful atmosphere.
We are particularly pleased to share our local knowledge and help you make the most of your stay. Whether you enjoy nature, coastal walks, art, culture or Breton cuisine, we offer personalised recommendations based on your interests, your mobility and the weather.
Both Marie-Corinne and Jean-Luc speak English. We are happy to help with restaurant bookings and arranging activities on request, making it easier for you to discover the region without unnecessary complications.
You remain completely free to come and go, plan your days independently and explore Brittany at your own pace.
We look forward to welcoming you to Les 3 Koïs for a stay filled with nature, creativity, discovery and genuine hospitality.
Les 3 Koïs – The Simple Pleasure of Taking Your Time
The Living Heritage of an Old Breton Farmhouse
Before becoming Les 3 Koïs, our home was a working Breton farm. Although the buildings have found a new purpose, we have always wanted to preserve an essential part of their history: our connection with the land, the seasons and growing our own food.
Today, our orchard, vegetable garden and greenhouse continue that tradition. We grow our produce using environmentally friendly methods, respecting natural rhythms and the changing seasons.
Freshly picked fruit, vegetables, aromatic herbs and edible flowers find their way into the dishes we prepare for our guests.
Behind these simple pleasures lies a great deal of work, care and organisation. But it is work we genuinely enjoy, allowing our guests to relax and make the most of their stay in peaceful, natural surroundings.
Fresh fruit, beautifully prepared for breakfast. Freshly cooked eggs with garden vegetables and herbs. fried eggs with garden herbs and flowers.
From the earth to the table, just as from clay to pottery, we cherish the pleasure of creating and sharing.
At Les 3 Koïs, breakfast also reflects the traditions of our former farmhouse. We bake our own bread using organic flour from a local mill, and prepare a varied selection of breakfasts with care and attention.
Fresh fruit from our garden, seasonal produce, herbs and edible flowers bring colour and flavour to the table. Whenever possible, we adapt our breakfasts to our guests' preferences, because a thoughtful start to the day is part of the pleasure of staying with us.
